Exhibition, trial and sale of traditional crafts
In additional to 40 items designated by the Tokyo Metropolis, Hall B7 includes a market with handicrafts from across the nation on display and for sale. Hall B5 includes a demonstration area for traditional craftsmen, and a workshop allowing attendees to make their own handicrafts. This is a wonderful chance to see artisan techniques up-close for yourself.
Traditional crafts and lifestyles of late Edo
A life of traditional crafts based on the late Edo period is on display in the west passage of the first floor Galleria. “Cloth,” “Food,” “Life,” “Fun”... Antiquated and contemporary representations of these four aspects of every day life are put side by side. This exhibition comes loaded examples of how to incorporate traditional crafts into a modern lifestyle, and is not to be missed.
Experience traditional craft techniques
The impressive vaulted space of KITTE’s first floor atrium becomes home to artisan techniques over three zones: “Experience”, “Future”, and “Science”. Prefectural PR areas will be established in the underground of Tokyo City Ai along with an information counter for the convention.
Exhibition of traditional craft masterpieces from across Japan
Must-see masterpieces from artisans from across the nation are on display in the first floor Maru Cube. The Edo Tokyo Kirari Project will be held at the same time, refining well-established products to establish them as a Tokyo brand.

① Aman Tokyo

The planned exhibition “Mitsuo Aida Museum” will be open until Sunday,
December 10th. The museum offers works with signatures from pseudonym “Gatei,” to real name “Mitsuo,” to “Kariyado Ronin,” as well as their origins and sentiment contained within.
⑤ CABaN TOMORROWLAND
A boutique born from “CABaN,” Hayama beach lounge where adults who
treasure playfulness gather. The store interior reflects the relaxed atmosphere of a beach resort, offering healthy wares and goods that continue to charm the world.
⑥ HANAHIRO CQ
The first Japanese store to collaborate with popular French
boutique Claude Qun Quaud. Celebrity flower artist Mitsunori Hosonuma has produced this aesthetic floral space.
Traditional crafts meet modern creativity in the form of fashion, craft, jewelry and more.
The goal is to create appealing products through the collaboration of craftsmen and creators.
