PR Event for Traditional Crafts
to be Held at KITTE Marunouchi

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will hold "TOKYO KOUGEI PARK," an event to widely showcase the appeal of traditional crafts, at KITTE Marunouchi.

In addition to exhibitions, demonstrations, hands-on crafting experiences, and product sales of Tokyo's traditional crafts, a special "Disaster-Affected Area Support Fair" will be organized to support the recovery from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake. This fair will showcase and sell traditional crafts from affected regions.

Furthermore, a design contest, "Wouldn't It Be Nice! Traditional Craft Design Contest," will be open to elementary school students. The contest invites submissions of designs that reflect traditional crafts they would personally love to use. Selected entries will be exhibited at an event in October, followed by an award ceremony. The Tokyo Governor's Prize-winning design will later be crafted by a professional artisan and presented as a gift to the winner.

Take this opportunity to experience Tokyo's traditional crafts.
