Minto Takasaki

Drawn in by the charm of traditional Japanese monozukuri manufacturing, Mr. Takasaki joined TOYO-SASAKI GLASS Co., Ltd., working for the company’s clinical laboratory. He currently investigates the various breakage of products that happen during testing. Out of this broken glass, he creates non-standard Edo kiriko glass products. And when he’s not working for the company, he develops his own techniques, using the materials from the failed products, also to make non-standard kiriko items. His goal is for these initiatives to become a new business.
