Mr. Ooyama is a glass-blowing artisan with a career spanning 25-plus years in the world of Edo glass-blowing. Gorgeous glass items are created using this incredible process of observing the end of the blowing stick to assess the state of the melting glass and its delicate movement. This is truly the beauty of this traditional craft, which continues to the present day. At the same time, Mr. Ooyama is engaged in training the next generations in the greatness of this art developed by a long history of past predecessors.
