Takayuki Nakano

As a young artisan, Mr. Nakano seeks to create new designs, while at the same time applying traditional fine-detail metal engraving techniques. He also makes other items aside from his regular work, with the idea of bringing the unique warmth of old-fashioned handwork to as many people as possible. Applying the various techniques he has honed to his day-to-day endeavors, he has strived stoically for twelve years to create striking silver dishes, accessories, and more. Next year he plans to challenge himself to the Master of Traditional Crafts Exam.
